Amber has 14 years of commercial lending experience, primarily with community banks, Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and mission-focused lenders, where credit enhancements like loan guaranties were integral components of their lending strategy. Early in her career, she was a front-line Credit Analyst and Underwriter, directly engaged with the standard process of obtaining a guaranty for small business loans. She is intimately familiar with the paint-points of this process for both the borrower and the lender. She has also worked with several similar institutions that have experienced the same frustrations. As her career advanced, her responsibilities evolved into credit policy development, lending team leadership, fund portfolio management and c-suite organizational oversight.
